I’ve been back in Isaiah 61 of late. Today I’ve been declaring verse 2 “To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn”.
There is a divine exchange happening in the spirit over God’s people. There is a turning.
May the Lord’s favour rise upon you as the light of His Glory spoken of in Isaiah 60. May His favour bring about vengeance upon the head of the enemy and may vindication, recompense and restoration be yours.
I am reminded of a phrase I heard in my spirit about 10 months ago. The Lord said “I am setting the record straight!”
The dictionary meaning of this phrase is this :
– to provide the facts about something that people have a false understanding or idea about
– To free from misconception, deception or error.
His vengeance is His payback. His retribution.
Around that same time I heard that phrase I had a dream that God was balancing the ledger. He is reconciling the accounts.
Isaiah 61 is all about how the vengeance and favour of our God plays out.
Verse 7 “instead of” shame you shall have two fold recompense! Instead of dishonour and reproach you shall rejoice in your portion.
The “INSTEAD OF” season has come. As your light has come. It’s here, it’s now, it’s time to shine, time to be planted that the Lord be glorified!
