This is a long word – but if you want strategy in these pivotal times of possessing I encourage you to read, these words just may hold keys for you.
This past month of November has been an intense month of intentional intercession partnering with the word of the Lord that it is time to possess promises.
As I look back over this past month the theme in my dreaming and intercession has been the enemy trying to hold back promise and intercept timing through DELAY.
Daniel 7:25-26
“He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law”.
Seeking to interfere with time is one of the enemy’s key strategies in seeking to frustrate the saint’s purposes, rob them from powerful faith that is needed to inherit by causing discouragement and a “sick heart” by hope being deferred. (Romans 4:16, Galatians 6:9, Proverbs 13:12).
Early November 10/11/19, I had a dream someone was trying to give birth or give me promises but I somehow couldn’t receive them, then the next scene in my dream was an hour glass nearly about to run out of sand. I felt the sense in the dream, “time is running out”. Like in some ways this part of the battle of possessing promises was against time. We must understand in possessing and inheriting, battling and advancing that we are engaging in different enemies at different stages of our advance and in this case this was one and it was fierce. Discouragement was almost like a wedge of defeat that had to be fully overcome and dislodged if this battle was to be won. The feeling of your heart not being able to go on and endure one more disappointment can sometimes be crippling in advancement and thus the enemy’s plan looks to be succeeding.
For two days following this dream I kept seeing 000 EVERYWHERE. I kept hearing the word “reset” over and over. Not fully understanding this I just trusted the Lord would reveal exactly what He was trying to show me.
Interestingly enough a few days later from this dream (13/11/19), and seeing 000 and hearing “reset”, my intercession partner sent me an exert from “Prayers and Declarations that open the courts of Heaven” by Robert Henderson. It was chapter 10 on “Resetting Timing in the Courts of Heaven”. She had no idea of the dream I had just had, nor what I was hearing about “reset” so I knew this was Holy Spirit walking us through a very strategic battle strategy to overcome the enemy’s tactics and plans. The actual title to the chapter was “Resetting”. WOW God is good!
As I interceded through the confessions laid out in this chapter and began to receive healing for a “sick heart” I began to feel significant shifting and breakthrough take place, however I felt the battle on time wasn’t fully over.
YOU ARE JUST ON YOUR LAST TRIP AROUND JERICHO
The next week in our Sunday service, I went into a prophetic space in worship and I saw the sun going down and I heard in the spirit “oh no the sun is going down!”. Meaning the “pressing of time”, the feeling that time was running out. I then heard the Lord say, “No you are just on your last trip around Jericho!” The vision opened up and the Lord began to show me that on the last day of triumph at Jericho, the Israelites marched seven times around Jericho, every other day before that it was only once, so it would make sense that the sun was going down on the last trip around (Joshua 6).
See when we are getting closest to our breakthrough, when it is possession time, we find ourselves now right up close to those impenetrable walls of Jericho. It is no longer viewing from a distance, and seeing the promise from afar. The inheritance the Lord has given you is right behind those intimidating walls that scream impossible. But when we are at the threshold of breakthrough we have to keep striking the ground, circling the city intensely in a saturated focused fashion until the shout of victory can be released from our belly.
We now don’t fight against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6) but our fight to possess is in the spirit in intercession. We must continue partnering with the Lord in strategy and intense focus to fully defeat our enemy.
Advance warfare is very different from defence warfare. And right now in this season, the saints are in advance warfare and they are possessing and taking back what the Lord has given them. You must keep striking, hitting the ground in intercession until victory. This analogy is explained in 2 Kings 13.
So back to the sun going down, I felt the enemy was seeking to spin another story in the ears of those possessing. He was seeking to twist the narrative and spell out an outcome that wasn’t truth. This is his tactic. He throws projections and thoughts at you in the realm of the spirit, so you will align and believe that and not what the Lord has said. It could be projections of outcomes of defeat, fear, catastrophy, that if you don’t get your breakthrough its all over! But that’s all it is, it’s a smoke screen and not truth.
Where the enemy is screaming the sun is going down on you, the Lord is saying, “no its just your final trip around Jericho!” You are getting ready to shout! For the Lord says: “I am filling your belly with a sound of victory you have never released. I am filling your vocal chords with a blast of frequency that is going to see the enemy flee seven ways. Wait, just wait and expect me”!
Isaiah 64:4
“For from of old no one has heat nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who works and shows Himself active on behalf of him who earnestly waits for Him.”
Active here in the Hebrew means to accomplish, bring forth, execute, grant, to do, advance, finish, follow through, and fulfil!!!!!!!
So the Lord is going to fulfil and accomplish bring forth and execute for those who “wait” on Him. In other words, those who don’t try to do it in their own strength, but flow with His timing and partner with His strategy in prayer, faith and intercession.
I WON’T LET THE SUN GO DOWN ON ME!
The next morning, I was hearing that song from the 80’s by Nik Kershaw “I won’t let the Sun go down on me”. I thought ok Lord more strategy in intercession.
My mind was taken to the scripture in Joshua 10:12- 13 where Joshua commanded the sun to stand still so the nation could take vengeance upon their enemies.
“Then Joshua spoke to the Lord on the day when the Lord gave the Amorites over to the Israelites, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, be silent and stand still at Gibeon, and you, moon, in the Valley of Ajalon! And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the nation took vengeance upon their enemies.”
If you are feeling you are in a war against time, in your health, finances or other pressing situations in your battle for victory, know that you have the authority to command time to stand still until vengeance against the enemy has fully taken place.
I just sat on this revelation not feeling a full release at this time to press into this in prayer. We must also understand that the Lord fills our hearts with revelation to bring it to a fullness of time in power. I will continue in my story and you will see what I mean by that.
So I hold this revelation in my heart, meditating on it, waiting for the appropriation strategy of how to pray into this, and in the meantime a few days later I have another dream pertaining to delay. In this dream, the sun was going down, and I was being “locked” out of my inheritance. The current owners of that which I was seeking to possess, came at closing time in the afternoon and locked the doors and said “sorry too late, you didn’t get the victory in time”.
In this dream the Lord revealed different blockages that needed to be prayed into and aligned that were hindering the breakthrough. These can be bloodline hindrances that need to be rectified in prayer, in this case it was. So I prayed into this as the Lord led and received the victory.
Can you see now why we have to flow with the timing of the Lord in strategy in intercession. I would not have been able to stand in victory commanding the sun to stand still with these things needing to be rectified.
Interestingly enough the morning I had this dream, perplexed at to how to pray into it, I was driving my daughter to a birthday party, and saw on a sign, NOV 999. The Lord was speaking to me regarding November and saying, “Anita this is the month of restitution, recompense, victory and justice”. So I thought, “ok, keep fighting on, keep pushing through, keep striking the ground, and the turnaround will come”!
So this leads me to the last week of November.
THE VICTORY OVER TIME
In the last week of November, I felt intense warfare of the enemy. Just feeling resistant activity. So to confirm I was picking up this correctly in the spirit, I was seeing 000 again and 666 everywhere. I’m thinking ok there is more warfare needed here, to reset the works of the enemy 666. In November 2018 the Lord gave me a dream about Him restoring fortunes from Psalm 126. In my dream I saw a gold box, and written above it was 666. I then saw the numbers flip to 999. I knew that this meant that where the enemy was holding God’s people’s inheritance through the demonic plans and works through man, the Lord was bringing recompense and justice (999) and bringing forth a restitution.
So when I was seeing 666 everywhere I knew this meant the enemy’s works needing to be flipped on its head.
November now coming to a close, and the Lord wanting to alert me to more confirmation that this demonic resistance was happening and the full breakthrough wasn’t released on this war with time, he brought me another physical sign. November 28th I was walking through the grocery store and what song do you think came on the radio, Yep, you guessed it, “I won’t let the sun go down on me!”. I was particularly drawn to the words, “I won’t”. In other word’s the Lord was saying, “Anita you have a responsibility here now to take what is yours by using your authority”.
The next day November 29, was our team intercession, and I share all of these last week occurrences with everyone, and we all collectively knew it was time to command the sun to stand still. So through the leading of the Holy Spirit (too long of a story to tell here), we appropriated that in intercession and knew it was indeed done.
THE SIGN OF BREAKTHROUGH, THE ALMOND TREE BLOSSOMING
So now we are at December 1. I ask the Lord early in the morning, “Father can you please confirm that indeed there was a shift and we fully got the breakthrough over delay”.
Forgetting I had prayed that prayer in the early hours of the morning, I am standing in worship in our Sunday service, and I go into a vision. I see this blooming blossoming branch with gorgeous pink flowers, exactly like the picture displayed here.
I was reminded of Jeramiah 1:11 – 12, YES THAT’S RIGHT 111.
“Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]. Then said the Lord to me, you have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.” AMPC
One commentary on this passage on Biblehub.com, explains the meaning of the almond tree as the “watcher” tree that “hastens to awake” out of its wintery sleep and thus expresses the DIVINE HASTE which would not without cause DELAY the fulfilment of its gracious promise, but would, as it were, make it bud and blossom and bear fruit.
WOW!!! This was the answer to the prayer prayed in the early hours of the morning on Decemeber 1st. The Lord said the almond tree blossoming signifies, no more delay, the word of the Lord is coming to fulfilment in DIVINE HASTE, (which is the opposite to delay by the way), and will bear much fruit!!!! WE broke through! 666 has now been turned to 999!
Get ready to Shout Shout Shout! For the Lord has given you the City!!! Joshua 6:16!
