Fear Will Not Repay You Well

“Then Mordecai told them to return this answer to Esther, Do not flatter yourself that you shall escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from elsewhere, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion?”
‭‭Esther‬ ‭4:13-14‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
In other words, don’t just sit back and hide in your palace and think it’s all just going to go away. It’s not all just going to go away. Let it be known, deliverance shall arise, but the question to be asked is are you going to be apart of Gideon’s army? Fear will not repay you well. Mordecai in this passage of scripture was pretty much telling Esther that if she chose fear it would not protect her and she would perish anyway. She couldn’t hide behind her position, her riches, her title as queen or the systems of this world. Who she was was who she was, and she was actually positioned in the middle of a crisis for a redemptive purpose. Her role of queen was not for self serving reasons so she could just look pretty. She had royal obligations, and so do we as Gods people have royal obligations to govern in the heavenlies from our royal seat with Christ and lock up and declare what is unlawful on earth as it is in heaven. (Mathew 16:19)
Don’t deny where you come from. Stand up for your faith, this is the hour Gods people either will reveal their identity as children of the light or shrink back in cowardice back into the darkness and hide behind the frail systems of this world. Be not deceived my beloved brethren as Mordecai instructed Esther, to save your life will not end out well. Your life carries a redemptive purpose, choose the path of destiny, for you have been called for such a time as this.
