The Season Of The Double Portion Part 2

After the Lord revealed to me that this now was the season to possess and inherit the “double portion”, I asked him one morning in my prayer time, “How Lord do I possess and inherit the double portion promised?”  His response was immediate.  He said;  “You possess by declaring”.  I thought to myself “der Anita as a prophet and intercessor you know this” but sometimes we have those dumb moments in order to ask the Lord to receive his NOW word on the situation.  The Lord then led me into a study of this scripture Isaiah 61:7 and what he revealed to me excited me so much I found myself praising Him with expressions of Yahoo and Woohoo out loud while hunched over my concordance and bible lol!  I was so elated that I wanted EVERYBODY to receive this revelation and understanding of what this time and season literally means for them as I know EVERYONE in some form has experienced what this scripture entails, in this “last” season especially.  Get ready and put your seat belts on coz I’m sure if this relates to you, you will find yourself yelling out the same expressions I did!!!!  Further down at the end of this study I have written out a declaration for you to declare over your life.  I encourage you to do this, as this is the entering in process!!

Isaiah 61:7a
“Instead of your former shame, you shall have twofold recompense” (Amp)

Shame- Hebrew: bo-sheth; shame (the feeling and the condition, as well as its cause) – confusion.

Shame (dictionary):  A painful emotion caused by a strong sense of guilt, embarrassment, unworthiness, or disgrace (disapproval, disrespect, discredit). Dishonour, condemnation, disappointment.

From root word boosh 954: Pale – (dictionary: to decrease in relative importance)- dishonour.
-To be disappointed or delayed, to be confounded (confused, circumstance to be thrown into disarray and disorder, I call it being blindsided by the enemy), become dry, delay or be long.

Well isn’t there a lot in this word shame!!  We can have a narrow- minded understanding of this word but when you look in the Hebrew it is expanded and very revealing.

With the meaning of this word shame explained, we can see it manifests in many forms in our lives and can be a result of many things.  Shame can be experienced through many avenues like, failure, rejection, poverty, passed sins, regret, grief, sexual abuse, causing others pain (whether accidental, through ignorance or just selfish transgression), disappointing others expectations of you, disappointing your own expectations of yourself, just to name a few.

Sometimes things happen in our lives that we didn’t expect or see coming, have any understanding of, how or why God even allowed it to happen.  This is what being confounded means which means confusion and as you can see previously noted is also one of the meanings of shame.  When we go through situations and circumstances like this in lives it tests our belief in God to its very core.  It can leave us feeling a sense of confusion in what we even believe anymore.  These experiences however can cause a shaking and uprooting of false concepts and beliefs and reestablish in us a deeper stronger faith in The Lord.  However when we are experiencing these times the sense of confusion and disappointment, loss or regret can overwhelm us and cause us to sink into deep depression.  This is when we truly feel like our light is being snuffed out.  BUT..  God is Faithful and just! He will not let us endure beyond what we can handle without providing a “way” out, I Corinthians 10:13.   He – Jesus- was, is and is to come that WAY amen!

Shame is a prison the devil wants to hold us in so we don’t inherit what is rightfully ours.  It keeps our head hanging low instead of looking up.

But now is a season where God is taking vengeance upon the cause and effects of the enemy in our lives and destroying that yoke of shame, reproach, disillusionment, and confusion and has come as the avenger in this hour to bring recompense in a double fold portion!

Isaiah 34:8
“For the Lord has a Day of vengeance a year of recompense for the cause of Zion”. (Amp)

THIS IS THAT DAY!

Now back to Isaiah 61:7
“Instead of your former shame you shall have a twofold recompense” (Amp)

Twofold– Hebrew: Double- twice as much.

Recompense– Dictionary: compensate for loss, repay.

So God is saying that the blessing and inheritance you would have enjoyed if you hadn’t have gone through shame or dishonour, disappointment, etc He is going to give you twice as much as recompense.  This will mean something different for different people but claim what is yours and declare it over your life.

Isaiah 61:7 b
“Instead of dishonour and reproach you shall rejoice in your portion. Therefore in your land you shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be yours.”(Amp)

Rejoice– Hebrew: to shout, aloud, for joy, to sing for joy, to triumph

Portion– Hebrew: to occupy by driving out previous tenants and possessing in their place. To seize, to rob, to inherit, to expel, to impoverish, to ruin, cast out, consume destroy, without fail, posses, take possession, seize upon, succeed utterly.

Therefore this is how ISAIAH 61:7 reads in Hebrew:

“INSTEAD OF EXPERIENCING SHAME,-  GUILT, EMBARRASSMENT, UNWORTHINESS, DISGRACE- (disapproval, disrespect, discredit), DISHONOUR, A SENSE OF UNIMPORTANCE AND CONDEMNATION.  INSTEAD OF BEING DISAPPOINTED AND CONFUSED TO THE POINT OF NEARLY GIVING UP BY DELAYED PROMISES AND CONFOUNDED BY CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH THREW YOUR LIFE INTO DISARRAY AND DISORDER.   I THE LORD WILL COMPENSATE YOU FOR LOSS AND REPAY YOU WITH TWICE AS MUCH HONOUR, CREDIBILITY, APPROVAL, ACCEPTANCE, HOPE, VISION, RESTORATION, PEACE, JOY AND FULFILMENT AS YOU WOULD HAVE HAD IF YOU HAD NOT EXPERIENCED THIS SHAME!”

YOU WILL BE VICTORIOUS OVER THE ENEMY THAT IS OCCUPYING THE INHERITANCE I HAVE GIVEN YOU AND YOU WILL SHOUT ALOUD WITH A GREAT SHOUT AS YOU DRIVE OUT, CONSUME, DESTROY AND EXPEL YOUR ENEMY.  YOU SHALL IMPOVERISH HIS PRESENCE AND SUCCEED UTTERLY WHEN YOU SEIZE UPON, TAKE POSSESSION OF AND INHERIT WHAT I HAVE PROMISED YOU.  YOU SHALL GO IN AND RECEIVE AND RETRIEVE A DOUBLE PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL PROMISE.  AND EVERLASTING JOY WILL BE YOURS”.

Don’t you just LOVE IT!!!

Now it is time to possess!!!  Call it forth and Declare your inheritance!

Job22:28
“You shall decree a thing and it shall be established for you, and the light of God’s favour shall shine upon thy ways”.

Decree– Hebrew:  to cut down, destroy, divide, exclude or decide, decree, snatch.

So when we are decreeing we are destroying, and dividing and excluding the enemy’s works in our lives or others and snatching back the promises of God out of his hands.

This is how the enemy works as well, he decrees so therefore we destroy His decrees over us!!

Establish– Hebrew: To rise, ordain, perform, remain, rise up against, strengthen, succeed, stir up, confirm, accomplish,

Rise up meaning, now it is being performed.  It is higher than the curse.  Your declaration and decree has overcome and succeeded the enemies’.  It is now yes and amen, it is done!

Time to Declare:  Call it forth!!

I have written here a declaration for you to declare and decree over your life.  You might want to add to this as you get specific revelation on your own circumstances and inheritance.  I encourage you to say this out loud and receive it as flesh in your life.

Declaration and Decree

In the Name of Jesus I :

I Declare an end to the season of shame and dishonour and reproach and declare an end to hopelessness, confusion and disarray.  I declare an end to delayed harvest and promised blessing, and release the word of the Lord over my life and say let that word be made flesh now!

– For shame, unworthiness, rejection, dishonour and reproach: I declare Gods recompense of a double measure in acceptance, love, honour, favour and high esteem.  I declare restoration and healing in relationships in a twofold measure.
– For disgrace:  I declare God’s restoration, reinstatement in double credibility, double respect, double approval, and double favour.
– For the season and time I endured unforeseen circumstances that threw my life into disarray and disorder that left me feeling perplexed, confused and even disappointed, that caused me to become spiritually dry and feeling hopeless:  I declare restoration of double vision, double hope.  I declare all the disappointments of the past to dissolve and I receive now the fresh breath of The Holy Spirit upon my heart to revive and resurrect a new faith vision and purpose.
– For the season where it has seemed the promises of God over my life have been delayed in coming to pass, where my faith and endurance were tested, and the season seemed longer than I expected, where I grew weary but didn’t give up, I declare now the fulfilment of those promises to come to me in a twofold measure.  I double the original promised blessing as God has promised to bring a great compensation of reward.
– For poverty and lack that brought shame, I declare a two- fold recompense in wealth and blessing.  I declare the wealth of the wicked now is laid up for the righteous and I receive that wealth transfer now in the Spirit.  I Double the portion promised to me!

Now I Declare the season of the double portion over my inheritance, spiritual and natural.  I receive the double blessing and double honour.

According to what you have revealed about this season Lord I declare now the twofold recompense and the joy in victory in possessing my inheritance. I declare the double inheritance and blessing.  I declare the season of harvest and reward in a double portion.

I thank you Lord for the light of your favour to shine on my ways to cause me to inherit what is promised to me.  I decree favour, high esteem and honour that open’s doors of opportunity for increase and expansion in my personal life and in furthering the kingdom of God in twofold portion.

I receive now the twofold portion of increase in my calling in You Lord.  Twofold insight, revelation, and manifestation of your Glory and Presence.  I declare twofold wisdom and understanding, power and might.  I declare twofold protection and favour on my life and the lives of my loved ones.

I declare the double portion inheritance over myself and my loved ones now.

Thank you Jesus.

I pray that as you meditate on this passage of scripture and the depth of its meaning that you receive revelation personal to you and your circumstance that you will find freedom in.
